Mashivka is a rural settlement located in the Poltava Raion of the Poltava Oblast in northeastern Ukraine. It is situated on the left bank of the Tahamlyk, which serves as a tributary of the Vorskla river within the Dnieper drainage basin.
The settlement serves as the administrative center for the Mashivka settlement hromada, one of the local administrative divisions in Ukraine. As of recent data, the population of the settlement is 3,548 residents.
