Kremenchuk is an industrial city located in central Ukraine on the banks of the Dnieper River. It serves as the administrative center for both the Kremenchuk Raion and the Kremenchuk urban hromada within the Poltava Oblast.
The city has a population of approximately 215,271, which ranks it 31st in Ukraine. In 2001, the Ukrainian government officially included Kremenchuk in the national list of historical settlements.
