Horishni Plavni

Horishni Plavni is a purpose-built mining city located in central Ukraine within the Kremenchuk Raion of Poltava Oblast. Situated on the left bank of the Dnieper River, the city is practically conurbated with its larger neighboring city, Kremenchuk.

The city was previously known as Komsomolsk-na-Dnipri or simply Komsomolsk before being renamed in 2016. It serves as the seat of administration for the Horishni Plavni urban hromada and has a population of approximately 49,854 residents.
