Fontanka

The Fontanka is a river located in Russia that serves as a left branch of the Neva River. It flows through the entirety of Central Saint Petersburg, extending from the Summer Garden to Gutuyevsky Island.

The river measures 6.7 kilometres (4.2 mi) in length, with a maximum width of 70 metres (230 ft) and a depth reaching up to 3.5 metres (11 ft). The Moyka River serves as a right-bank branch of the Fontanka.

The Fontanka Embankment is notable for its historical architecture, featuring the former private residences of Russian nobility lined along its banks.
