Bolhrad is a small city located in the Odesa Oblast of southwestern Ukraine. It is situated within the historical region known as Budjak and serves as the administrative center for the Bolhrad Raion district.
The city functions as the seat of administration for the Bolhrad urban hromada, which is one of the recognized hromadas in Ukraine. As of recent data, the population of Bolhrad is 14,818 residents.
