Ochakiv, also known as Ochakov and Alektor, is a small city located in the Mykolaiv Raion of the Mykolaiv Oblast region in southern Ukraine. It serves as the administrative center for the Ochakiv urban hromada.
The city has a population of 13,663 residents. According to recent data, approximately half of the 14,000 people who lived in the city prior to the war remain there today.
