Yavoriv is a city located in the Lviv Oblast of western Ukraine. It is situated approximately 50 kilometres west of the oblast capital, Lviv, and lies about 15 kilometres from the Polish border.
The city serves as the administrative centre of Yavoriv Raion and hosts the administration of the Yavoriv urban hromada. As of recent data, the population of Yavoriv is approximately 12,785 residents.
