Rava-Ruska is a city located in the Lviv Raion of the Lviv Oblast in western Ukraine. It serves as an administrative center for the Rava-Ruska urban hromada, which is one of the local administrative divisions within the country.
The city is characterized by its position as a border town between Ukraine and Poland. A key piece of infrastructure associated with this location is the international border checkpoint situated approximately 8 km (5 mi) west of the city along the Warsaw–Lviv autoroute. The population of Rava-Ruska is approximately 8,494 residents.
