Ivano-Frankove is a rural settlement located in the Yavoriv Raion of the Lviv Oblast in Ukraine. Formerly known as Yaniv (Janów), the town is situated on the right bank of the Vereshchytsia, which serves as a left tributary of the Dniester River.
The settlement is notable for the damming of the Vereshchytsia river, which creates the Yaniv Reservoir. Ivano-Frankove serves as the administrative center for the Ivano-Frankove settlement hromada and has a population of approximately 6,346 residents.
