Starobilsk is a city located in the Luhansk Oblast in eastern Ukraine. It serves as the administrative center of the Starobilsk Raion and currently has a population of 15,947.
The modern settlement was founded in 1686 and was officially granted city status in 1938. Since February 28, 2022, following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the city has been under Russian occupation.
