Lysychansk is a city located in the Sievierodonetsk Raion of the Luhansk Oblast in eastern Ukraine. It is situated on the high right bank of the Donets River, positioned approximately 115 kilometres (71 mi) from the oblast's administrative center, Luhansk.
The city faces Sievierodonetsk across the river. Prior to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Lysychansk had a population of approximately 93,340 residents.
