Fastiv is a city located in the Kyiv Oblast province of central Ukraine. On older maps, the city is historically depicted as Khvastiv.
The city serves as the administrative center of the Fastiv Raion district, although it does not administratively belong to that specific district. It also hosts the administration for the Fastiv urban hromada. As of recent data, the population of the city is approximately 44,014.
