Rusanivka is a man-made island and neighborhood located in the left-bank part of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. The area is characterized by its unique geography, as it is completely surrounded by the Rusanivs'kyi Kanal, an artificial distributary of the Dnieper River. This surrounding canal gives the neighborhood the appearance of an island.
The neighborhood is situated near several other districts, including Hidropark, Darnytsia, Berezniaky, and Livoberezhnyi Masyv.
