Nova Zabudova

Ukraine

Nova Zabudova is a historical neighbourhood located in central Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine. It is situated on the right bank of the Dnieper River, specifically within the valley between the Lybid River and the Pechersk plateau.

The area developed during the 1830s and 1840s as land allocated for residents relocated from Pechersk due to the construction of the New Pechersk Fortress. Today, the neighbourhood is divided between the city's Holosiivsky and Pechersky administrative districts.

The primary streets traversing the length of Nova Zabudova are Antonovycha and Velyka Vasylkivs'ka.
