Lypky

Lypky is an historic neighborhood located in the administrative Pecherskyi District of Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine. The name of the area is derived from the Ukrainian word for lime tree, Lypa.

The neighborhood serves as the de facto government quarter of Ukraine. It hosts several key state institutions, including the buildings of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) and the Presidential Administration and Government. Additionally, the area contains ceremonial residences and hotels that are traditionally used by politicians.
