Olenivka is the name of several distinct localities within Ukraine. These include urban-type settlements located in the Kalmiuske Raion and Horlivka Raion of the Donetsk Oblast, as well as villages situated in the Odesa Oblast (Podilsk Raion) and Crimea (Chornomorske Raion).
The name is also associated with a significant historical event known as the Olenivka prison massacre. This incident involved an explosion at a Russian-operated prison on July 29, 2022.
