Luhanske is a rural settlement situated in the Bakhmut Raion of the Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine. It is positioned along the M04 highway and is located approximately 30 kilometres (19 miles) from the city of Bakhmut.
The settlement has a recorded population of 2,140 residents. It serves as a rural locality within the regional infrastructure of eastern Ukraine.
