Hornostaivka is a rural settlement located in the Kakhovka Raion of the Kherson Oblast in southern Ukraine. The village is situated on the left bank of the Kakhovka Reservoir, which is an artificial reservoir formed on the Dnieper River.
The settlement serves as the administrative center for the Hornostaivka settlement hromada. As of recent records, it has a population of 6,290 residents. Since 2022, the area has been under Russian occupation.
