Dzhankoi is a city of regional significance located in the northern part of Crimea. While internationally recognized as part of Ukraine, the city has been occupied by Russia since 2014.
The city serves as the administrative center of the Dzhankoi Raion, although it is not geographically situated within the district itself. As of recent data, the population of Dzhankoi is approximately 38,622 residents.
