Alushta

Alushta is a city of regional significance located on the southern coast of the Crimean peninsula. It is situated along the Black Sea coast on the road connecting Gurzuf to Sudak and serves as a stop on the Crimean Trolleybus line. The city is located within the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a region internationally recognized as territory of Ukraine but currently occupied by the Russian Federation and incorporated as the Republic of Crimea.

According to the 2014 Census, Alushta had a population of 29,078 residents. The city is primarily known for its coastal positioning and its role within the regional transportation network of the peninsula.
