Kamyanets-Podilskyi is a city located in western Ukraine on the Smotrych River. Situated to the north-east of Chernivtsi, it serves as an important regional hub within the Khmelnytskyi Oblast.
The city currently functions as the administrative center of the Kamianets-Podilskyi Raion and hosts the administration for the Kamianets-Podilskyi urban hromada. It was formerly the administrative center of the entire Khmelnytskyi Oblast.
