Henichesk is a port city located along the Sea of Azov in the Kherson Oblast of southern Ukraine. It serves as the administrative center for the Henichesk Raion and hosts the administration of the Henichesk urban hromada.
As of January 2022, the city had an estimated population of 18,889. Since November 9, 2022, Henichesk has served as the temporary administrative center of the Russian occupation administration in the region.
