Staryi Saltiv is a rural settlement located in the Chuhuiv Raion of the Kharkiv Oblast in Ukraine. It is situated on the right bank of the Donets River, which is dammed at this location to form the Pechenyhi Reservoir.
The settlement serves as the administrative center for the Staryi Saltiv settlement hromada, one of the local administrative divisions within Ukraine. As of recent data, the population of the settlement is 3,329.
