Verkhovyna is a rural settlement located in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast of western Ukraine. Formerly known as Zhabie until 1962, it currently serves as the administrative center for the Verkhovyna Raion and hosts the administration of the Verkhovyna settlement hromada.
The settlement has a population of approximately 5,773 residents. It functions as a local administrative hub within its respective region in western Ukraine.
