Zhdanivka, also known as Zhdanovka, is a small city located in the Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine. It has a recorded population of 11,867 residents.
Since 2014, the city has been occupied by regular Russian and pro-Russian proxy forces. It remains a point of significance within the ongoing regional conflict in eastern Ukraine.
