Staromlynivka is a village situated in the Volnovakha Raion (district) of the Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine. It is positioned approximately 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) south of the town of Velyka Novosilka.
The settlement is located within the floodplain of the Mokri Yaly river. Historically, the village was known by the name Staryi Kermenchyk until it was renamed in 1946.
