Shakhtarsk, also known as Shakhtyorsk, is a city located in the Horlivka Raion of the Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine. It currently serves as the administrative center of the Shakhtarsk urban hromada.
The city has a population of 48,208 and is presently occupied by Russia.
