Dobropillia is a city located in the Pokrovsk Raion of the Donetsk Oblast in Ukraine. It is situated approximately 94 kilometres (58 miles) from Donetsk, which serves as the administrative center of the oblast.
Historically, Dobropillia held the status of a city of oblast significance and functioned as the administrative center for the former Dobropillia Raion, despite being administratively separate from that raion. Population data indicates that 28,000 people lived in the city in 2022, with the population decreasing to approximately 22,000 by 2025.
