Kryvyi Rih is a city located in central Ukraine within the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. It serves as the administrative center for the Kryvyi Rih Raion and its subordinate Kryvyi Rih urban hromada. The city is also a component of the Kryvyi Rih Metropolitan Region.
With an estimated population of 603,904, Kryvyi Rih ranks as the seventh-most populous city in Ukraine. It is notably the second largest city in the country by area and is claimed to be the longest city in Europe.
