Bozhedarivka

Bozhedarivka is a rural settlement located in the Kamianske Raion of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in Ukraine. It is situated approximately 50 kilometres (31 mi) west of the city of Dnipro.

The settlement was known as Shchorsk from 1939 until February 2016, a name honoring Red Army commander Nikolay Shchors. It was subsequently renamed Bozhedarivka to comply with Ukrainian laws prohibiting names of Communist origin. The village serves as the seat of administration for the Bozhedarivka settlement hromada and has a population of 2,651.
