Zastavna is a small city located in the Chernivtsi Raion of the Chernivtsi Oblast in western Ukraine. It is situated in the historical region of Bukovina, approximately 26 kilometres (16 mi) north of the city of Chernivtsi.
The city serves as the administrative center for the Zastavna urban hromada, which is one of the local administrative divisions within Ukraine. As of recent data, the population of Zastavna is 7,750 residents.
