Storozhynets is a small city situated in the Chernivtsi Raion of the Chernivtsi Oblast in western Ukraine. It is located approximately 20 km (12 mi) southwest of the oblast capital, Chernivtsi, and lies north of the border with Romania.
The city serves as the administrative center for the Storozhynets urban hromada. As of recent data, the population of the city is 14,077.
