Kozelets is a rural settlement situated in the Chernihiv Raion of the Chernihiv Oblast in northern Ukraine. It serves as the administrative center for the Kozelets settlement hromada.
The settlement is located on the banks of the Oster River, which is a tributary of the Dnieper River. As of current records, Kozelets has a population of 7,496 residents.
