Rotmistrivka

Rotmistrivka is a village situated in the Cherkasy Oblast of Ukraine. It is located approximately 14 kilometers southwest of Smila and 44 kilometers southwest of the district capital, Cherkasy. According to data from the 2001 census, the village had a population of 2,156 inhabitants.

Historically, Rotmistrivka was home to a large Jewish community until the Holocaust and served as the seat of the Rachmastrivka Hasidic dynasty. The area is also notable for the proximity of the Rotmistrivka crater.
