Wawi is a tambon, or subdistrict, located within the Mae Suai District of Chiang Rai Province in Thailand. It serves as a local administrative division within the northern region of the country.
As of 2018, the population of Wawi was recorded at 25,476 people. While there is conflicting information regarding its location, official records identify it as a Thai subdistrict rather than a city in Tanzania.
