Urambo is one of the seven districts located in the Tabora Region of Tanzania. The district serves as a geographical subdivision within the country's administrative framework, with the town of Urambo serving as its official administrative seat.
The district is defined by several neighboring boundaries: it is bordered to the north by the Kaliua District, to the east by the Uyui District, and to the southeast by the Sikonge District. To the southwest, Urambo shares a border with the Katavi Region.
