Kyela is a district located in the Mbeya Region of Tanzania. It serves as one of the seven administrative districts within this region.
The geography of Kyela is defined by its neighboring boundaries, which include Rungwe District to the north and Ileje District to the west. To the northeast, it borders the Njombe Region, while its southeastern boundary meets Lake Nyasa. The district also shares an international border with Malawi to the south.
