Tarime is a large town situated in the northwestern Mara Region of Tanzania. It serves as the administrative seat and district capital for the Tarime District.
The town is located near the international border with Kenya, specifically within 20 kilometers of the Sirari border crossing. This primary transit point can be accessed from Tarime via the paved trunk road T4.
