Nachingwea is a district located in the Lindi Region of Tanzania. It serves as a geographical subdivision within the country's administrative framework.
The district is defined by several neighboring boundaries: it is bordered to the north by the Ruangwa District and to the east by the Lindi Rural District. To the south-east, Nachingwea borders the Mtwara Region, while its south-western boundary meets the Ruvuma Region.
