Zhubei is a city located in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. It is recognized as one of the fastest-growing settlements in the country, experiencing a population increase of 51,000 between 2010 and 2019. This growth rate was the highest among all townships, cities, or districts in Taiwan during that period.
The city's rapid expansion is primarily driven by its proximity to Hsinchu City and the Hsinchu Science Park, which have attracted significant migration to the area. Additionally, much of the infrastructure development for Hsinchu County has been concentrated within Zhubei.
