Miaoli City is a county-administered city located in the Taiwan region of Taiwan. It serves as the official county seat for Miaoli County.
The city is characterized by a relatively high percentage of Hakka people among its population. In terms of real estate, it recorded specific land values in 2004, holding the second highest residential price and the highest commercial price for land within Miaoli County at NT$28,601 per square meter and NT$63,317 per square meter, respectively.
