Niulakita is the southernmost island of Tuvalu and serves as the location for the country's only village of the same name. It has a small population of 36 residents, who originally moved to the island from the neighboring island of Niutao.
Politically, Niulakita is represented in the Parliament of Tuvalu by the members of the constituency of Niutao.
