Toco is a village located on the northeastern coast of the island of Trinidad, which is part of the nation of Trinidad and Tobago. It holds the distinction of being the most northeasterly settlement on the island.
Due to its geographic position, Toco serves as the closest point in Trinidad to the sister island of Tobago, which lies approximately 35 kilometres (22 mi) to the northeast. The name of the village was originally ascribed to the area by its early Amerindian inhabitants, though the specific meaning of the name remains uncertain.
