Sangre Grande is a city located in the northeastern region of Trinidad and Tobago. Geographically, it is situated to the east of Arima and southwest of the village of Toco.
The town serves as the capital of its region and functions as the seat of the Sangre Grande Regional Corporation. It holds the distinction of being the largest town in northeastern Trinidad and Tobago.
