Phoenix Park

Phoenix Park is a large public urban park located in Dublin, Ireland. Situated approximately 2 to 4 kilometres west of the city centre and north of the River Liffey, the park encompasses 707 hectares of recreational space enclosed by an 11-kilometre perimeter wall.

The park features extensive areas of grassland and tree-lined avenues. It has been home to a herd of wild fallow deer since the 17th century. Additionally, the Irish Government has lobbied UNESCO to have the park designated as a World Heritage Site.
