Zeyrek is a neighborhood located within the Fatih district of Istanbul Province in Turkey. As of 2022, the area has a recorded population of 12,863 residents.
The neighborhood is characterized as a picturesque but poor area that takes its name from the prominent Zeyrek Mosque. This landmark structure originally served as a Byzantine church and is situated on a plateau overlooking the Golden Horn.
