Aksaray

Aksaray is a city located in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey. It serves as the administrative seat for both Aksaray Province and Aksaray District. As of 2025, the city has a population of 327,575.

The province covers an area of approximately 7,659 km² (2,957 mi²) with an estimated total population of 441,136. The region features an average elevation of 980 m (3,215 ft), while its highest geographic point is Mt. Hasan, which reaches an elevation of 3,268 m (10,722 ft).
