Yarpuz

Yarpuz is a village located in the Osmaniye District of the Osmaniye Province in Turkey. It is situated within the Nur Mountains and lies along the Yarpuz creek, which serves as a tributary of the Ceyhan River. The settlement is positioned approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) from the city of Osmaniye.

As of 2022, the village has a population of 794 residents. Historically, Yarpuz served as the capital of the Cebelibereket sanjak during the final years of the Ottoman Empire.
