Karaman is a city located in south-central Turkey within the Central Anatolia region. It serves as the administrative seat for both Karaman Province and Karaman District. Situated approximately 100 km (62 mi) south of Konya, the city lies north of the Taurus Mountains at an average elevation of 1,039 m (3,409 ft).
As of 2022, the population of Karaman is 175,390. One of the primary cultural landmarks and major sights in the city is the Karaman Museum.
