Baykan is a municipality located within the Baykan District of the Siirt Province in Turkey. It serves as a local administrative center for its surrounding area.
The town is primarily populated by Kurds and had a recorded population of 5,544 residents in 2021. The municipality is organized into five distinct neighborhoods: Cefan, Havel, İnönü, Karşıyaka, and Yenidoğan.
